Welcome to Aymara Peruvian Kitchen

Aymara Peruvian Kitchen is a genuine Peruvian concept located in East LA serving flavorful Peruvian cuisine, using only fresh ingredients. The menu has a variety of tasty dishes including ceviche, signature lomo saltado, Peruvian-style fried rice & stir-fry noodles, and homemade salsas.

We are a family business

Ralph, my husband, arrived in Los Angeles from Peru in 2008, and I arrived in Los Angeles from France in 2011. We are both passionate about food, travel, and hospitality, and we actually met for the first time in a restaurant in 2011. We immediately fell in love and we were engaged 6 months later!

Ralph and I have over 10 years of hospitality management and restaurant experience combined.  We are restaurant people. In our free time, we love exploring wine regions like Napa Valley and Santa Ynez. For vacation, we try to visit our families as much as possible.

Cooking From the Heart & Carrying On A Legacy  

The food comes from our heart and our generational family recipes. Ralph’s grew up with his mother Zulema and grandmother Luyita, who was cooking delicious meals every day at home. Her recipes come from her grandmother from the  region Ancash.  She has shared all her recipes with us, and we really want to continue her legacy. She is 94-years-old and currently lives in Lima, Peru watching  over her daughters, grandkids,  and teaching the next generation all the traditions and recipes. It is very important for us to pass on these cultural riches to the world around us.
